Eurovision betting tips update: Anyone that took the 35/1 about Israel is surely laughing now, with the latest odds as short as 2/1 and the surge showing no sign of stopping. It’s impossible to justify backing them at the current odds though, so we’ll look elsewhere for some value.

Each show typically begins with an opening act consisting of music and/or dance performances by invited artists, which contributes to a unique theme and identity created for that year's event; since 2013, the opening of the contest's final has included a "Flag Parade", with competing artists entering the stage behind their country's flag in a similar manner to the at the . Away from the 2024 Eurovision favourite, Switzerland is our most likely winner of the jury vote (2/1), while we expect the Israeli diaspora to be out in force, determined to prop up their performance and silence the naysayers in the current climate. Backing them each-way at 35/1, or at 9/4 for a top five finish are both options.
So prepare yourself for a good time, keep up with the latest Eurovision odds, gather your friends - whether virtually or in person - and enjoy the exciting final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
Loreen was the heavy favourite and did go on to win Eurovision.
The Netherlands look a sure-fire winner of Thursday’s second Eurovision semi-final, but backing them at such short odds remains a risky strategy. They look certain to join Switzerland, Greece and Israel in the grand final, but successfully nailing all 10 qualifiers feel like a tricky business when there are no complete no-hopers. San Marino could conceivably upset the odds at 3/1. It’s one of their better efforts, and some potentially big points should be expected from neighbouring Italy.

It doesn’t take a genius to tip the hot favourite in the Eurovision betting odds, but Croatia (11/8) does tick alot of boxes when looking for the most likely winner.

For Eurovision 2023, through the special page (see ) in the English version of our site, you can follow the changes in the odds every day. So far, the undisputed favorite is Sweden with Loreen , who by winning next May in Liverpool will catch Johnny Logan for wins in the competition as a performer and Sweden will equal Ireland’s record 7 wins. In fact, the Swedish entry has the lowest performance for victory in recent years in the competition, even lower than the “sure winners” Kalush Orchestra. It’s a Scandinavian affair to win this year, as for the bookmakers, even if the prize slips from Loreen’s clutches, either Käärijä or Alessandra will be there to grab it. Notably, three of the so-called BIG 5 are in the top ten, with the usual suspect Italy on the fringes. Greece has been stable since the opening of returns in 28th place with a slight decrease in its returns in recent days.

There we go then, a full rundown of what looks the most open Eurovision for some time. In terms of a standout song, then you’d be looking at Malta’s Destiny, as Je Me Casse really hits home hard and is going to be hugely popular with a large cross-section of both the juries (great lyrically, and performed well) and the voters. It needs to navigate a potentially hazardous early draw, but the song is strong enough to carry it across. Italy always go well, and thanks to a good draw, they’ll be fresh in the voters minds but they won’t appeal to everyone. At bigger prices, the likes of Portugal and Lithuania make some appeal, especially the Portuguese entry which could capitalise on being sung in English, always a major plus point when looking for the winner.
